Rody would sink a few years here & there into a group, only to find them not as serious about the music. : : Another problem he found repeatedly was that most people he ended up working with were not truly interested in the contribution of his ideas, but only wanted someone to fill the drummer position. His ideas were, as he was often told, too different, too complex, or just not "safe" enough. : : This however seemed to be in contradiction to all the things he loved about music. From the adventurous soundscapes of David Bowie, the brash emotion of Beethoven, the flash & crunch of Kiss, the anything goes of Queen, the sci-fi themes of Gary Numan & Devo, the sheer primal delight of the Ramones… the list went on & on of all the things that made music music to Rody.
